Cancer Research Wales and Excellence IT have been working together since June 2021. Excellence IT provide the charity with a multitude of services varying from Managed IT Support, Cyber Security Support and Microsoft SharePoint training.
Cancer Research Wales is working to ensure the people of Wales do not have to accept cancer as a life-threatening disease. The charity does this by supporting the best cancer researchers and clinicians to make discoveries which will transform lives.
Cancer Research Wales is the only charity wholly dedicated to funding cancer research in Wales, for Wales – and we’re incredibly proud that Cancer Research Wales has been our chosen charity of the year on numerous occasions.
This week, we were extremely grateful to have Cancer Research Wales come into our office in Caerphilly to present to our team on Bowel Cancer, the incredible work they do and how donations play a huge role in helping the charity. The team were more than impressed with the incredible work done by the charity using artificial intelligence, testing for an increase in the accuracy of bowel cancer screening using the Raman blood test.
A big thank you to Dr Peter Henely, Ben, and the logistics team for the presentation and the setup of the inflatable bowel – which, as you can see below, the inflatable bowel is a creative and fascinating way to share information on the subject.
We’re thrilled to have raised £500 for Cancer Research Wales through activities such as our annual Fantasy Football tournaments. Thank you to all those who participated and continue participating year after year to raise money for our chosen charities.
