A busy month at excellence IT – We hosted a Macmillan Coffee Morning and had a fantastic presentation by Cancer Research Wales, a new starter has joined the team and our Software Developer has been nominated for Apprentice of the Year. Not a bad October.
IT Training (Microsoft, PowerBi, Power Automate, etc)
If staff training is on the agenda within the next few months, it may be worth acting fast. There are few dates left for the rest of the year, and we’re quickly filling up for dates in the New Year.

Apprentice of the Year?
Our team are thrilled with the recent announcement that Software Developer, Daniel Price, has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year by Caerphilly Business Club. Dan, who completed his apprenticeship in June this year, has largely contributed to the streamlined processes at Excellence IT by creating web applications, user interfaces, managing databases and creating outlook add-ins.

Cancer Research Wales
Last week, we were extremely grateful to have Cancer Research Wales come into our office to present to our team on Bowel Cancer, the incredible work they do and how donations play a huge role in helping the charity.
We’re thrilled to have raised £500 for Cancer Research Wales through activities such as our annual Fantasy Football tournaments.
Thank you to all those who participated and continue participating year after year to raise money for our chosen charities.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Our team baked a fantastic selection of cakes, from chocolate cupcakes to banana bread to a team favourite, Malteasers tray bake. However, Software Developer Daniel Price’s lemon drizzle cake gathered quite the fuss.
We want to thank all those star bakers (who are all worthy of entering The Great British Bake-Off) and those who donated to the Coffee Morning.
We are happy to announce that we raised £180 for Macmillan Cancer Support from the event.
