Here’s how you can batch rename your files quickly…


This weeks tech tip was how to batch rename multiple files and folders using a quick keyboard shortcut:


  1. Select the file you want to rename

  2. Press ‘F2’ on your keyboard

  3. Rename your file

  4. Press tab to move onto the next file

  5. To rename a group of files, select all of them

  6. Hit ‘F2’ on your keyboard

  7. Rename your file

  8. Hit ‘Enter’

  9. All your files will be renamed with the same name, followed by a numeric value!
